Live broadcast bar reported by Mail on August 29 that Nottingham Forest has rekindled its interest in Arsenal left-back Tavares and provided an offer of rent + optional buyout.
Last week, Forest intended Tavares, but then the deal negotiation broke down. Forest now hopes to be able to sign him on loan and provide a rental offer with the option to buy.
Tavares has not played for Arsenal this season, and he seems to have no long-term future under Aalter tower.
Tavares is 23 years old, and his contract with Arsenal will expire in 2025. At present, his German turn-around price is 18 million euros.
